Far into the remote areas of the Bekaa Valley, rests a small village called Bechwat. It means "Generals", chosen as a tribute to the strength of the land. Resting between hills and mountains, this serene landscape sits high near the clouds. Majestically overlooking the ancient city of Baalbek, these lands are humbled by the immortal history of the Roman Ruins.

Witness to times of war, and great peace; this region is revered for its patience. With its rich history and the difficulties encountered, the land here is testament to its perseverance and its name!

Spring brings warm dreamy feelings. Satisfaction, after the harsh winters. Only to be followed by the enchanting spring blooms. The soil feeds life into the wine. Delivering a taste that defies all that it has endured.

French grape seedlings were planted here 15 years ago aiming to promote agricultural development in this region of rich soil. Under the supervision of specialized engineers, many types of seeds were planted in our land. Among many others, Cabernet, Sauvignon, and Syrah were planted here.

At an altitude of 1,400M, our grape vines grow on the hills in between the valleys. Once through the severe winters, the grapes absorb the warmth of the sun, and soak in the pure air breeze. The clusters of grapes embrace the scents of Oak, Olives, Figs, and Cherries, which are all prominent to this region.

Altitude and many other factors including sun exposure, clay-limestone soil, temperature differences between night and day, cultural ploughing and pruning practices, and summer droughts all make this an incredibly unique territory for the cultivation of wine.

This land gave birth to a wine, that is authentic, distinctive, and savory. To be enjoyed by the rational, the lovers, and the dreamers!
